Welcome to
our site! Here you will find photos and information about our dogs,
ourselves, and our interests. We currently have six dogs: Tasha,
Bella, Kingman, Figgy, Sparky and Tillie. Tasha is a mix of American
Bulldog and American Staffordshire Terrier. She turned 12
years old on April 5, 2007. We have had her since she was 8
weeks old, and have shared many adventures!
Bella, Kingman, Figgy and Tillie are Greyhounds.
Bella was a racing dog for several years and won a lot of races
before breaking her leg and no longer being able to compete. Kingman
is also an ex-racer, though he washed out after 38 races, and doesn't
seem to want to chase things anymore. Figgy is an older Greyhound
girl at 8 years of age. She stopped racing in 2002, and was in
a home for 4 years and then was given up for adoption again...we
took her in and she is a sweetie. The latest Grey girl is Tillie,
and at nearly 11 is the senior Greyhound. Read about her on her
page to see her interesting story.
You'll learn more about each of them on their own
page. Likewise, you can find out a little about us on our page.
The "In Memoriam" page pays tribute to our furry loved
ones who have passed on.
The "Links We Like" page features other
sites that we like to visit, buy from, or use to gather information.
Please use them and let us know if you find any that don't work,
or if you have a good one you would like to recommend.
The "Raw Diet" page provides information
on the type of diet we prepare and feed our dogs. Also referred
to as the "BARF" diet, it is based on the premise that
dogs do better on a raw, natural diet, instead of commercially prepared
"doggie fast food". Take a look and see what we mean.
The blog page is where photos and current events show
up. It's a little window to the world of living in a small Arizona
town. The other sites links point to sites that I currently am developing.
Finally, "Nick's Picks" is a page of items that Nick recommends. And
yes, you can purchase directly from Amazon.com by using the links
provided on the page.
We hope you enjoy your visit!
